When you’ve never experienced a disaster, it’s hard to imagine how to rebuild, or what hope and possibility feel like. Now that the clouds have faded away and the sun has started to shine again, light has been shed on the hope, power and heroism powered by our communities.
Cause Update: It warms our hearts to see so many families come together in an effort to bring change and support to those in our Texas communities that need it most. Thank you for raising awareness for this cause, for it has helped us lend a helping hand to so many people!
It’s amazing to see how we as a people have come together to help rebuild – together. The American Red Cross has already sheltered over 37,000 families, served over 1.2 million meals and snacks and has even provided care to evacuees by supporting nearly 40,000 mental health and health services contacts!
But the need for helping hands is still there. “So many families have lost everything; their homes, their possessions and even their lives. We want to help people get back on their feet.”
Let’s drive meaningful change CHANGE into the lives of these children by supporting The American Red Cross today – none of your money is needed, just contact us and we’ll tell you even more about how YOU can get involved.
